PT Gearindo Prakarsa Successfully Completes Fabrication of Extension Deck for GBCPP Main Deck

PT Gearindo Prakarsa is pleased to announce the successful completion and delivery of the Extension Deck Fabrication for the GBCPP Main Deck (Project POIND-0075-000195). Managed and led by Mr. Surya Satria Budi, Workshop Setu Manager, the project was executed with precision and delivered ahead of critical operational requirements.

The fabrication period spanned from December 9, 2025, to February 19, 2026, achieving 100% progress across all technical scopes.

Project Scope and Technical Achievements

The project involved the complex fabrication of structural components designed for seamless integration at the GBCPP site. Key achievements included:

  1. Structural Components: The fabrication included 7 deck panels with connection modes, handrails, and gratings.
  2. Precision Engineering: The team utilized advanced laser water pass tools to project horizontal and vertical beams, ensuring high-precision guides for all construction work.
  3. Technical Milestones:
    • Completion of all welding with acceptable Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) results.
    • Execution of machining, CNC operations, and drill holes.
    • Comprehensive Trial Fit-up and final dimensional checks, witnessed and verified by the Company Representative.
  4. Surface Treatment: Full blasting and painting processes were completed to meet industrial durability standards.

  1. Quality Control and Logistics

    Under the leadership of Mr. Surya Satria Budi, the team implemented rigorous identification and safety protocols:

    1. Tagging & Identification: Each deck panel was individually tagged to ensure correct placement and prevent errors during on-site installation.
    2. Deck Panel Weighing: Accurate weighing and dimensional data for each panel (e.g., Panel 4C at 470 kg, Panel 4D at 530 kg) were provided to the client to facilitate safe lifting and installation at the site.
    3. Delivery Milestones:
      • Partial delivery of components occurred on February 18, 2026.
      • Final delivery of all remaining modules was completed on February 19, 2026.
