Nurturing Spirit and Community: PT Gearindo Prakarsa’s Khataman Al-Quran And Gifts Presentation To The Orphanage
On Friday, March 13, the PT Gearindo Prakarsa Head Office was filled with a sense of gratitude and togetherness as we hosted our annual breaking fast (Iftar) gathering. The event brought together the entire management team, Head Office staff, and our colleagues from the Setu Workshop for an afternoon of spiritual reflection and community giving.
A Spiritual Milestone: Completing the Khataman
The program commenced at 16:00, centering on a significant spiritual milestone: the completion of the Khataman Al-Quran.
- Juz 30 Recitation: The session began with a collective recitation of selected Surahs from Juz 30, led by Muh Rafi Rusdi. This served as the final step in completing the reading of the entire Al-Quran.
- Yasin and Tahlil: Following the Khataman, the atmosphere remained one of solemnity and prayer as Ustadz led the congregation in reciting Surah Yasin and Tahlil, offering prayers for continued blessings and guidance for the company and its families.
Sharing the Joy with the Community
Guided by our commitment to social responsibility, we were honored to welcome 30 children from a local orphanage located near our Head Office.
Following the religious recitations, the management team presented gifts to the orphanage. This moment was the highlight of the afternoon, reflecting the true spirit of the season—generosity and care for those around us. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces served as a poignant reminder of the importance of giving back.
Breaking Fast Together
As the sun set at 18:15, the program transitioned into a festive dinner. Employees from all departments and the Setu Workshop sat side-by-side with our young guests to enjoy a meal together. This communal Iftar was not just about breaking a fast; it was about strengthening the bonds that make PT Gearindo Prakarsa a unified family.
